We offer tours daily, Monday – Friday, at 2pm. Each tour lasts about 1 hour. Entertaining and pleasant docents will lead you through each room of the house, explaining interesting architectural features, telling stories about Rose Hill’s history, and answering every question you could dream of.
At the end of the tour, we treat you to refreshments served in the grand dining room. These include samples of Rose Hill jams & salsas, made locally in our very own kitchen, as well as fresh baked cakes & cookies, peach tea & lemonade.
These tours are truly a fantastic way to entertain any of your out of town friends & family.

Children under 6 cannot attend tours.
If you have a group of 20 or more, a private tour of mansion can be arranged for a morning hour or anytime over a weekend. We simply ask that all private tour reservations be made several days in advance. The group private tour requires a 50% deposit made in advance, with the balance due at the time of the tour. Ticket prices are the same, with no group discounts.
Luncheons (group tours only)
We also offer groups of 20 or more the option of a luncheon tour. Luncheon tours are $40 per person and include a private 1-hour tour, followed by an assortment of tea sandwiches or barbecue, fruit salad & pasta salad, chips, an assortment of desserts, and peach tea & lemonade. Luncheon tours must be reserved at least one week in advance and require a 50% deposit, with the balance due at the time of the luncheon. These tours are perfect outings for lady’s groups, church groups, reunions, or large families.

I don't see luncheons on the tour calendar. How can I schedule a luncheon for my group?
Please contact us to schedule a luncheon. We need to check availability and make sure we have no other tours or events going on. If no other events are scheduled, we will set up an event on the calendar that you can use to reserve a luncheon for your group.
Can I cancel my tickets?
Yes, up to 5pm on the day before the tour is scheduled. Please see our refund policy below.
What is your refund policy?
We will refund tickets up to 5pm on the day before the tour is scheduled. For example, if you reserved tickets for a tour on January 10, you would be able to cancel and receive a refund up until 5pm on January 9.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes. Tickets are not assigned to any particular person. However, adult tickets may only be transferred to adults and child tickets may only be transferred to children. An adult may not use a child ticket. Additionally, if an adult transfers their ticket to a child, Rose Hill will permit entrance, but not grant any kind of discount or partial refund.
Can I reschedule my ticket for a later date?
Yes. We allow rescheduling up until 5pm on the day before your tour is scheduled. For example, if you reserved tickets for a tour on January 10, you would be able to re-schedule up until January 9 at 5pm. After 5pm, you must either use the ticket or not attend; we do not grant refunds after that time.
You may reschedule a tour for a new date up to 30 days after your originally scheduled tour. To reschedule, please contact our office.
